LENEXA, Kansas (August 07, 2008)– Frontier announces a complete new line of tillage products for compact tractor owners. New products include the 1200 Series Mulch Finishers, the 10 Series 1- and 2-Bottom Plows, a DH3472 Disk Harrow, and the PC1072 Field Cultivator.

"All four of these implements are great for most property owners," explains Michael Horrell, Frontier Equipment sales and marketing manager. "The options on these tillage tools allow customers to choose equipment to best match their gardening and landscaping needs. For example, if working in a home garden, the four-foot mulch finisher would be the appropriate choice. For larger gardens or crop plots, the eight-foot mulch finisher would be better."

The 1200 Series Mulch Finishers are available with many different options for all of your food plot needs. Equipped with a row of either 16- or 18-inch coulter blades combined with two rows of ground engaging S-tine cultivator shanks, these mulch finishers smoothly prepare gardens and wildlife food plots for planting. Working widths are available in 42, 60, or 82 inches. Optional rolling baskets help to break clods and smooth the soil in a one-step process.

"The new 10 Series Plows add a new twist on a classic tillage tool. This is a great tool to turn sod into a workable garden or simply till small acreage in the fall. With replaceable plow shares, shims, and landslides, these plows will ensure easy tillage for years to come," explains Horrell.

The PB 1 or 2 Bottom Plows both come with a 14-inch moldboard but vary in dimensions including weight, length, width, and height – the PB1002 being larger-framed and heavier-duty.

Adding to the extensive Frontier tillage line is the PC1072 Field Cultivator. With a six-foot working width and 13 s-tine cultivator shanks and optional tillage points, this implement is a great addition to any garden or small acreage farm. This cultivator requires a minimum of 25 horsepower allowing for versatility with tractor usage.

"The new Frontier tillage line also offers the DH34 Series Disk Harrows. Available in two versions, the DH3472 and DH3474 compact disk harrows are built for smaller acreage tillage. Features include a heavy-duty frame, streamlined tubular gang hangers, and a rear pressure-controlled leveling system making it ideal for stable cutting and compact soil conditions. Additionally, they feature a 74-inch cut width and up to 225 pounds of down pressure per cutting foot for maximum penetration and performance," concludes Horrell.
