LENEXA, Kansas (August 07, 2008) – Frontier Equipment introduces a new line of heavy-duty land levelers and attachments built for construction and precision land leveling applications. LL14 Series Land Levelers can be pulled behind tractors with 140 to 525 horsepower. Four models are available with working widths that range from 10 to 16 feet.

"These new land levelers are ideal for general site preparation, but can easily be outfitted for precision land-leveling. Simply add the optional laser mount, and receiver, and you're set," says Michael Horrell, Frontier sales and marketing manager.

The capacity of these new levelers range from 93.75 cubic feet on the smallest model, to 150 cubic feet on the largest model. In addition, LL14 Series Land Levelers feature heavy-duty 5/8-inch thick end plates, and eight-inch tall, 5/8-inch thick grading blades for long-lasting performance. Each model is backed by a six-month warranty.

"Other new attachments include the Frontier CR14 Series Sheepsfoot Roller Packers. These packers increase the versatility and productivity of our land levelers and give contractors the ability to level and pack simultaneously," explains Horrell.

Two packer models are available with working widths of eight and 10 feet respectively. Each is backed by a 6-month warranty. The CR1460 is the largest with a maximum operating weight of more than 36,000 pounds when its drum is filled with sand. The six-foot, two-inch diameter drum features 120, seven-inch feet that apply up to 830 pounds of pressure per square inch when filled with sand.

"Our sheepsfoot packers feature integrated transport wheels that make them easy to move. This industry exclusive feature can be a real time saver for contractors when transporting equipment from site to site. Other attachments that we offer include a smooth drum roller that compact soil behind the leveler and front scarifiers that rip through compacted soil in front of the leveler," says Horrell.
