"The new 600 and 800 Series MoCo's are designed with new features to improve windrow formation, accommodate easier adjustment and serviceability, and deliver an industry-exclusive three-year cutterbar warranty," says Doug Stogdill, senior marketing representative, John Deere Ottumwa Works. "Whether a producer wants a side-pull or mid-pivot configuration, these new rotary MoCo's are built for years of reliable service."

All rotary MoCo's feature a modular, nodular-iron cutterbar for extra strength. The rotary cutterbar has a shear hub design to protect the internal gears of the cutterbar and to allow easier, faster and less-expensive repairs.

"A new swathboard has been added to improve windrow formation," adds Stogdill. "And we've got new crank handles to easily adjust the platform float. This eliminates the need for any tools to make this adjustment."

Other features include improved access to driveline grease zerks for easier maintenance, a hydraulic lockout for the platform lift cylinders eliminating the need for mechanical locks, and rotary stripper disks to improve crop flow and windrow formation. On the 800 Series mid-pivot MoCo's, a new equal-angle tongue has been added to improve overall turning and maneuverability.

"Reliability and durability are extremely important to our customers. We understand this and are offering an industry-exclusive three-year warranty on the cutterbar of these new MoCo's," concludes Stodgill. "Because of the quality engineering that went into the design of these new MoCo's, we're confident that they will provide unsurpassed and reliable performance in the field."
