LENEXA, KS (June 30, 2006) — For large property owners looking for economical ways to mow and maintain their acreage, Frontier Equipment offers a new line of rotary cutters – the 10 Series. The cutters come in the following models and widths; the RC1048, four foot; the RC1060, five foot; and the RC1072, six foot.

"These rotary cutters, offered exclusively by John Deere dealers, are designed to work behind smaller utility tractors," says Michael Horrell, sales manager, Frontier Equipment. "They are painted with a high-quality powder paint and are designed for years of service."
The 540 rpm driveline is available with shear-bolt or slip clutch protection on all models. Customers who want to protect the drive train from overloading without having to replace shear bolts should consider the slip clutch option.
"A large gear box is designed for reliability and dependability," says Horrell. "Gear cases are rated at 45 peak horsepower for the RC1048 and 65 peak horsepower on the RC1060 and RC1072 with a two year limited warranty."
Customers can choose between rear rubber or chain deflectors and front rubber or chain deflectors on all models. Customers may also select either a puncture proof laminated tire or a solid rubber tire.
"The rotary cutters have hitch options of an iMatch™ compatible or non-iMatch compatible Category I free floating three-point hitch," explains Horrell. "The majority of rotary cutters are sold as iMatch compatible, because customers can easily attach and detach the cutters to John Deere utility tractors.
