2006 JOHN DEERE COLLECTORS CENTER MEMORABILIA CONFERENCE SET FOR MARCH 7-8 IN MOLINE, IL

MOLINE, IL (February 14, 2006) — If you're a John Deere fan it's time to pack up your pocket ledgers, belt buckles, and other John Deere memorabilia and head to Moline to participate in the fourth annual memorabilia conference.

The 2006 John Deere Collectors Center Memorabilia Conference will be held March 7-8 at the John Deere Collectors Center in Moline, Ill. During this free event, guests will have a chance to swap stories, buy and sell John Deere-branded items, and participate in seminars on a variety of memorabilia-related topics.

"We're looking forward to hosting our fourth conference," said Brian Holst, manager of the John Deere Collectors Center. "This is a good opportunity for John Deere enthusiasts to gather together to enjoy their hobby and learn what's new in the world of collecting."

The conference includes six seminars that will provide information about the John Deere trademark, advertising literature, tools, and signs, and share research tips to help collectors learn more about John Deere memorabilia in their collections. Exhibitors will be on hand to share their collections, and a "town hall meeting" will provide an additional opportunity to ask questions and learn more about John Deere and the Collectors Center.

For a complete schedule of events, visit www.JohnDeereCollectorsCenter.com, or call (800) 240-5265.

The John Deere Collectors Center is the premier location for enthusiasts interested in the history and heritage of John Deere and the collection of early John Deere tractors, equipment and memorabilia.

Located on the John Deere Commons in Moline, Ill., the facility serves as a living history 1950s-era dealership and offers a number of unique services and programs, including an active restoration area, exhibits of equipment and memorabilia, and a specialty retail shop.
