The Deere Production System (DPS) is the enterprise manufacturing strategy. It provides the framework to rapidly reduce the time and cost of achieving world-class, build-to-demand manufacturing capability. The Deere Product Quality System (DPQS) attacks the roots of poor quality and product defects to create sustainable quality improvement. It begins with product design and includes manufacturing and supply management, all the way through to customer support.
Both DPS and DPQS incorporate guiding principles, best practices, common tools and common processes. John Deere's industry-leading Achieving Excellence process provides continuous feedback on performance and quality to John Deere suppliers.
