For our U.S. operations, corporate functions are mainly located at our world headquarters in Moline, Illinois.

The Deere & Company World Headquarters in Moline, Illinois was designed by the world–famous Finnish–American architect, Eero Saarinen. He also designed the Gateway Arch in St. Louis, Missouri, among many other buildings and monuments. Our building received many awards upon completion in 1964, as well as the prestigious American Institute of Architects’ 25–Year Award in 1993. It is located on 1,400 acres of well–groomed land and is home to a variety of wildlife, including white tail deer, ducks, geese and swans.

Giving back is a big part of our culture. Through the John Deere Foundation and other entities, we partner with public and private organizations to improve communities and provide active leadership in growth and development initiatives. For example, we’re working with KickStart, which helps farmers in Kenya, Tanzania and Mali to get out of poverty. We also encourage employees around the world to contribute their time and talents within their own communities.
the John Deere classic
The John Deere Classic is an American professional golf event on the PGA TOUR schedule. It is played annually in July, at the TPC at Deere Run in Silvis, Illinois. Deere & Company is the title sponsor of the event through 2010. In addition, the John Deere Classic and Birdies for Charity program generate more than $3 million for non–profit organizations each year, earning the event the top ranking for the most dollars given to charity per capita of any event on the PGA TOUR.
