Products from AMS, such as GreenStar™ Parallel Tracking and AutoTrac™ bring enhanced features, increased reliability and added productivity. Combining these products with John Deere Seeding solutions will provide you with unmatched productivity and performance levels.
Today, Parallel Tracking or AutoTrac can be used on air seeders and drills. Advantages of the GPS based guidance system include: improved operation in low visibility conditions, minimized skip and overlap between passes, enhanced ability when working at night and it provides an indicator for turning into the next pass. Also, if this is the initial AMS product purchase, the common components can be used across multiple operations and pieces of equipment.
If customers are comfortable with the pass to pass accuracy they can obtain through GPS based guidance systems, such as GreenStar Parallel Tracking or AutoTrac, the majority of row crop planters can be ordered less mechanical markers. GPS based guidance systems will help reduce operator stress and improve the operator's ability to operate during periods of reduced visibility or at night.
