Specialized Training efforts are an important add-on…

Vantage training Rapidly growing product portfolios, faster innovation cycles, stronger customer focus and channel excellence orientation sometimes require special training efforts to get the job done. Here are two examples of how wide the scope of John Deere training activities is, aside from day-to-day salesmen and product support specialists training. Recently, 40 sales experts from JDIN’s Finnish distributor Hankkija-Maatalous traveled to Arc-les-Gray for a hands-on training on John Deere balers, mower conditioners and front loaders. Another example is John Deere Italiana’s vantage training for dealers as an early follow-up of the EAME-wide “dealer of the future” initiative.

“Our training session for the Finnish group in Arc-Les-Gray was a great support to establish John Deere as a brand of choice for livestock farmers in Finland. Our scope of products clearly demonstrates our commitment to contractors, large and midsize livestock farms” says Carsten Heftrig, JDIN territory Manager for Finland, Latvia and Estonia. “All-in-all, such specialized training will help to reach our market share goals for Finland” adds Sebastian Balke, JDIN product specialist for Hay & Forage Equipment.

“The vantage training for our Italian dealers is a key element of our channel excellence initiative in Italy” says John Deere Italiana Marketing Manager Philippe D’Hoine. “As we want them to be recognized as first class organization, this vantage training was only the first of a total of four such venues. It helps to get stronger insights in each other’s business and fosters our relationship with those who represent us in the field.”
