Zweibruecken to fulfill Turkmenistan order of 500 combines, timely

John Deere Werke Zweibruecken have delivered their last lot of a total of 500 combines for shipment to Turkmenistan, in a timely manner. This largest single order for Zweibruecken combines since 1995 was processed between December and March with peak production of up to 17 machines per day. The 5-walker combines are equipped with 18 ft. cutting platforms and are delivered to Turkmenistan, mainly by rail. Having arrived at their destination, the machines will be distributed and serviced by John Deere distributor IPC Agri which is based in Ashkhabad, Turkmenistan’s capitol. By rail to Brest...

The 9560 combines will be mainly harvesting wheat and rice in Turkmenistan, besides cotton the country’s most important crops.
