Durability, Maneouvrability is the John Deere Z Trak series. These mowers have the ability to move around tight obstacles, whilst still maintaining the functionality of a heavy duty rotary mower. Fully enclosed engine compartment reduces overall engine noise. The enclosure can be removed quickly, allowing full access to engine and transmission components for easy service.
The Z Trak comes in 2 models, both mowers come with a commercial, heavy duty mower deck, made with unique 7-guage (4.5 mm) steel construction, the industry's toughest. The 997 offers a side or rear discharge deck. The 717E offers a side discharge deck (rear discharge available in Feb 06).
