What is Pre-Authorized Payment Plan (PAP)?

You authorize John Deere Credit to deduct the regular, ongoing or recurring payments from your chequing or savings account. Pre-Authorized Payment Plan (PAP) may be used for all payment schedules - monthly, quarterly, semiannual or annual.

How do I request to sign-up for Pre-Authorized Payment Plan (PAP)?
There are three ways for you to complete and submit a request to sign-up for Pre-Authorized Payment Plan (PAP):

  1. Download the appropriate PAP form in PDF format, complete the form and sign it, OR complete the form online, print the completed form and sign it.

    Adobe® Reader® is required to view files in the PDF format. This application can be downloaded from the Adobe Web site.

  2. Mail or fax the completed form along with a copy of a voided cheque to John Deere Credit.

Cheque Examples
To complete the Pre-Authorized Payment Plan (PAP) Authorization Form you will need the following information:

  • Your John Deere Credit account information for all the accounts for which you wish to setup Pre-Authorized Payment Plan (PAP).
  • Bank and account information, i.e., whether it is a savings or chequing account. For most accounts, the account information is located similar to the sample cheque below:

Once the Pre-Authorized Payment Plan (PAP) Form is received, when can I expect the first payment to be drawn from my account?
John Deere Credit requests the payment from your bank account on the due date, or the next business day following the due date if it falls on a weekend or holiday. Your next payment should be drawn from your bank account if that payment is due in 10 or more days from the date your automatic payment authorization for (or void cheque) is received. Please call Loan Servicing at 1.800.321.3766 to confirm receipt of your authorization.
